To Get That Vomit Smell Out of Your Car.....

November 29, 2018

Not going to lie folks... My boy Huxley just puked all over the back seat of my wife's car...I guess too much peanut butter fudge will do that to you...

In all seriousness, my wife called me on the way home from picking up our boy and shared the news that he had been sick in her car and to prepare for arrival.  So I got a fresh roll of paper towels and trash bag.  Then, I went to my essential oil shelf to make some simple deodorizer.  Not only does it sanitize, but it takes that vomit smell out of any surface.  Here's the scoop:

You'll need a 10oz spray bottle (you can find these in the little toiletry travel section of your local Walmart) fill half with water, the other half (leaving a 1/2 inch of head room with distilled vinegar.

Vinegar is about 5 per cent acetic acid. The acid kills bacteria and viruses, by chemically changing the proteins and fats that make up these germs and destroying their cell structures..

Then we add Two drops of each of these essential oils:

Peppermint oil will add a refreshing, stimulating, and cool smell to the air.

Lavender boasts a rejuvenating, floral scent

Tangerine essential oil’s aroma is tangy and sweet

Lemon oil has a zesty-sweet and tart scent

Once all ingredients are added, cap the spray bottle and shake.  Use as much as you need (don't forget to shake the bottle frequently).  The smell will be a mixture of the scent of the oils and vinegar...  The vinegar will disinfect and then evaporate, leaving a pleasant smell behind!

Disclaimer - I am no doctor..  Do this under your own power and will..  I am not legally responsible for your decisions...  Especially if they are stupid ones...

Cheers folks!
